I'm sure you could fit five 12's in the trunk but, you would have to be very creative about it. I have one 15 in my trunk with a box that is about 5 cubic feet. The box is made into two pieces so I can fit it into the trunk. Once I get it in the trunk, I bolt the two sides together with flanges that I made for it.

I used to have four 12's in my other car and my friend only had one 10. His was louder and alot cleaner than mine because he had the right box.

I just don't understand why you would want that many subs in your trunk. It probably will sound like crap because there isn't enough air space in the trunk for it to be done right. My idea is to keep it simple and have one(maybe two) very high quality subs in a box that is specifically designed for the woofer(s). You don't need alot of subs for it to sound very loud and very clean. The box is the most important part of making good bass(in my opinion).

that's gotta be at least 5 cubic feet of box volume, if each 12 needs 1 cu ft.
got pics? if not

probably because the place that he is hosting them or server I should say doesnt allow hotlinking or if they worked for a short period of time he used up his bandwidth and now there not working.

btw Joe if you want email me the pics and I can host them so they stay up.

Bah.. if you use the right subs, it's not a problem. I had three 12s and three amps in the trunk years ago, and had tons of room for more.. I could still fit a weeks' worth of luggage in the back.

now I have 5 amps and 4 12s back there and still have the same room as before.... it's all about the install.

Well he went for 20's , so I don't doubt he has 5 subs. I just hope he loosened the trunk bolts to keep the car in true gangster fashion.

im not about to spend money for a custom setup when im always ebaying and then selling it every couple of weeks. ive had 3 12's, 4 12's, 4 15's, 1 10, 2 12's, and now 5 12's. right now im thinking of six 12's or 4 15's again. all i have to use is two not so long triple 12 boxes and a litlle butt bumpin and itll drop right in. ive also had all those setups since january of this year. i just like to change out and sell it to friends then go on ebay and find something different. also ive tried the 2 "high quality subs" with two power hx2 15's slot ported with two memphis 1000d's and it still wasn't loud enough for me. so more=better "for" me. also a lot of you may say that draws attention to thieves, but hey people steal stuff even when its not flashy, so I don't like to be low key and all that stuff, I want to quake. but 6 12's may be in the making for the spring

i have a buyer for the rims already, i just have to wait intill i get back home. but im staying with dubs after all the cutting i did. im either thinking Ice Metal 888's 20 or the rvm spazio black wheel with the polished lip in a 20. and yes i will still be sittin in the air, no ground scrapin here.

Ok here is my 5 10s. Im doing like 155 to 158 legal on the dash. Now if you have 5 12 in the trunk I bet your doing like a 120db. If you could build a box for the trunk that you could get them in they would not sound good at all. In are trunk you could do like three 10 or 12s or two 15's. Their is not enough room for 5 12's to work.

well you could have bought tires that where 245/35/20s and may not have had to jack the car up. but to be perfectly sure, you would have to have 235/35/20s or 225/35/20s then you could lower your car and truck with no modifications.

oh yeah and here are my old dubs with 255/35/20s at a full turn with no suspension modification.

those things where ****in mean on that car

oh yeah and look at this crazy **** with 22s its looks striaght retarted. who would put lip rims that stick out 6 inches on a max.

there were 20's on stu's maxima before 20's were ghetto cool. and they didnt rub, and neither do mine. ( i cant find stu's pics online and cardomain is giving me problems or else i would upload)

they look better than i thought wires would look, but theyre not proportional. 18" wires would have looked much better, and you could have dropped it and it would have even looked better, but to each his own. down south likes 4x4 cars, just look at any car on eastcoastryders.com.

i can roll with you lifted though

chris, i've been busy with house stuff, i check in once in a while, but i have to follow stuff like this
hey goon, u ever gonna send me pics of the car shaved up?

also the whole set(wheels and tires) were bought off another guys car. so it wasnt like I chose 255. and the tires still look mainly still brand new. maybe if I get a brand new set i can try 245.

i guess it had to do with the offset or width of the rim, because it would basically bend up the fender if I tried to force it to turn, so in my case I had no choice

i also did, but you should have bought 7.5 inch 20s and 225/35/20s. you can put 225/35/20s on 8.5 inch rims but your just asking to bend the lip. oh yeah and 225/35/20s are hardly any bigger the maxima stock tires.

i know im about to get flamed but so what but my wheels actually stick out about as far as those 22's on that blue max. im going to a wheel shop tomorrow because I believe those wheels are a negatice offset. kind of got a deep dish look going on. that why mine probaly stick out. i wonder what he had to do to get them on there.

because their not chrome, Yes their better, i think there made in Italy... somethin crazy like that..(or im thinkin of a dif. rim) anyway they go with the car.
lowered? shavedmax's max isnt lowered...its f*k*ng slammed!
but thats just the beginning, Unibody! and all!! Look at all the fabrication! it hurts my brain to look at his car domain site, so much time dedication and hard work put into that car. (not to mention $) Pure style show car, looks like it has attitude of its own, as if it could think for itself... that's when u know its not ghetto/tacky/rice, or whatever you wana call it
when a car looks like someone put 20 inch rims on it.. its pure tackyness.
The rims should accent the rest of the car. and give it that extra "*holycrap*"
anyone can go out and buy rims... and mount them, but thoes who work hard it shows and the rest of the world greatly appreciates it.

... of couse this is all just my opinion

edit: and his max is made of pure gold... thats hot
