92 Rear Speaker Install
I just got my Maxima not too long ago for cheaper then asking and under Kelly Blue book. We decided to keep it as is for a while. We replaced the Tranny and are waiting to replace the back breaks and repair the exhuast manifold. Me and a friend were talking about putting a cold air intake and K&N Fliter on it to give it a little more get-up-n-go as well as doing what we can with the suspension, wheels, and tires to help with handling and what not. I am currently unemployed so this is all planned but on hold. My friend decided to get me an early X-mass present and bought me four 6 1/2 speakers as well as hooking me up with a great deal on subs and installation. Either two eights or two tens for $150.00 down plus $50.00 for labor, so $200.00 for the whole sha-bang. PROBLEM- I installed the first box of 6 1/2s in the front doors after a few hours of cutting the pots just right to fit them with out comprimising the pot and the original design meant to hold 4-by-6's, the guys at audio express advised against it and said it couldn't be done with out some kind of help and their extenders, I proved them wrong. Now I do not know how to get to the back two speakers that were broke since I got the car, they are under these speaker covers that are fused to the back window cover. I need advice or a point in the direction where I can do this myself. How do i get to the back two speakers on a 92 Maxima? Also, I want to remove the speaker covers that came with the car and use the ones that came with the speakers, How do I do the whole thing? I will greatly appreciate any of your responses, thank you...
