Auto Seat Belt

Anybody know what to do about an auto seat belt that has failed, 92GXE-started working intermitently (used to work in the cold but not the heat-bizarre) then quit completely, of course its dead in the forward position, driver side still works.

???

Thanks,

try another dealership and look in the back of your owner's manual

They really are under lifetime warranty so I think they're probably trying to avoid doing it free.

It sucks that some dealerships don't know their own warranty information. I took mine in and I had to get a service manager to OK the work on mine being done. The first time I called them, they said they wouldn't fix it. Several months later, I got up the nerve to go in there myself and raise a stink. I brought in my warranty book and showed the manager.

They replaced my seatbelts free, too.

Selt Belts

Good on your replacement, but what if you aren't the original owner??
Then what?? Can you take your car to any dealer to have them fixed?

doesn't matter. I am the 3rd owner. Lifetime of the car, not lifetime of the owner.
