Whats the easiest way to remove the grill?

What is the easiest way to remove the grill without damaging any of the clips?

I got an air horn and I want to install it.

Thanks for reading.

Just squeeze the clips from the back with some pliers and that way the clips come off WITH the grille instead of staying on the car.

You can do it from the front with a thin long flathead screwedriver (turn the clips a 1/4 turn - also the clip behind the logo is almost impossible to reach from the front), but the clips stay on the car and you have to take them off and install them back on the grille to put the grille back on.

Good information to know. I am seriously thinking of throwing a 3G-A grill on my 93. I don't care for the multi-finned 3G-B one. The 3G-A one is easier to clean too.

Hey - I'm looking for a 92-92 SE grille. If you replace your grille, I'd be interested in taking your old one off your hands. I really don't care what color (just no chrome), I'll be painting it my own color scheme. I'd trade with you if you're interested, but mine has a small crack on the bottom corner. The upside is that it's all black with a super white stripe on the center fin.

This is an old pic, but you can see what my grille looks like:

Hey, I have an extra grill like that. It's primed because I was going to get it painted body color. It might need a couple extra coats of primer though. I will get you some pictures today.

There's actually 1 crack on it. It's on the bottom corner also, but it's on the back of the grill. I put some glue on it so it wouldn't crack more.

Let me know when you get a pic, I'd be interested in it.

DennisMik - yeah, a lot of people would hit the brakes when I passed them in that car, especially when the black hood was on it!

I thought you had the newer style, I'm looking for the 5 fin model (92-94).

Here's a pic of the 'new' car, this one doesn't look like a cruiser.
