Hey there. Well I just found out that I have a exhaust leak from when my car bottomed out. It really sux. But I was just curious as to if it would be better to just go buy a good racing exaust to replace the whole thing or if I should just get it repaired. 'cause what I have on there now is just stock. Thanx!!!

By getting it repaired I would assume you mean muffler tape. That is about $5 To get "racing exhaust" put on your talking at a minimum $650-$700.

what piece of the exhaust is damaged?

if you plan to mod and say the Y-pipe has a hole...now is your chance to get a new one whether it be cattman or warpspeed or custom or whatever...

my point is depending on what part of the exhaust needs replacement and you're desire to mod should determine if you get it fixed or begin to replace the stock exhaust with performance.

Ive got an exhaust leak as well, but mine is coming from the exhaust manifold (studs rusted).

Once I save up some money, Im going to...

Port exhaust manifold (if its worth it), Custom (probably) Ypipe, high flow cat and 2K Maxima muffler.

Is there a way to tell if the car has an exhaust leak?
Please tell me how you found out.
