Ve or vg

I ran into a buddy of mine who has a 94 max gxe. How can this car have the 92-94 body style, be a 94 but have a vg under the hood?? He's selling the car inna month for $1500. 180k miles.

Because it is a GXE and not an SE.

92-94 SE ONLY! has the VE.

All 3rd GXEs have the VG. Only the 92-94 SE has the VE.

all GXE's have VG's

only 1992-1994 SE's have VE's


The actual body of the car did not change either.

only the SE's have black trim and tinted tails that would be the only difference.

The main power gain from the VE over the VG is the dual outlet mufflers

You can look on the metal plate on the firewall to see which engine you have. It should say VG30E somewhere on there along with the VIN#, transmission code ect....

my muffler only has 1 outlet though
