piece of junk
so i just found out that my maxima is a piece of junk, isn't safe to drive, and isn't worth fixing. I had bought it for a little over a thousand, and now i don't know what the hell to do with the car. It will cost over 2 grand to fix.....any ideas?

Paid $400 for my 89..put another $400 in it to get through MD inspection..saved alot on labor I'm sure doing it all myself..mainly front suspension parts..struts..ball joints...control arms..tie rod ends....tires....needs a paint job but I bought it for a beater and I love it!!!

You want an idea on it, PART IT!!!!!! You'll make some money off of it. Too bad your color wasn't white, I'd buy the hood off you if it was still good.

well here are the problems: Left and right ball joints, control arm, two bushings, needs alignment, as well as the fact that the car has been known to randomly die on me while accelerating, and it probably needs a new fuel pump. I don't have the means, tools, or know how to get this done myself. The mechanic recommended that i don't do fix it. And damn give me some time to repost, i just posted it yesterday, im trying to figure out with the parents what to do with the car, they don't want to deal with it anymore, they want to trade it in. If anyone wants it, 750 and its yours. i'd rather not part it because i have to go back to college in a week, and we have no place to put the car itself. i will be checking the forum regularly for any comments, questions, or suggestions.......

i could do that in a week with approximately 300$ in parts. no kidding. me and many other people would be happy to buy that car from you - as you will soon see.
DIBS!@#!@#!@#
jk, you should really fix it.

228,000 miles, other than the one engine problem the rest of the engine runs perfect, body condition is not the greatest, new battery, good tread on tires, immaculate interior, 5 spd, sunroof, power everything...pm me if your interested.

back on topic, if there are any serious buyers, please let me know. My e-mail is asaw3157@yahoo.com or pm me. If i don't hear from anyone soon the parents will either scrap it or donate it.

Well I have the best news I have had in months.....not only did I sell the maxima for almost as much as I bought it for (my mechanic bought it back from me), but now I'm the proud owner of a 96 maxima. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me
#36
nice, how'd that happen. thanks for screwing me over btw..jk, i really wouldn't have had a use for it anyway..plus it would be hard to drive from st louis to oregon in the middle of a midwest winter storm

My mechanic surprisingly bought it back, although he is convinced there is nothing wrong with it. Then the parents decided that they wanted to buy me something reliable, and it so happened to be a 96 maxima....although i do have to buy it off of them if i want to call it mine, but it works for now
