Still fighting door and trunk locks

here we go again......I cant use keys on my trunk or door locks yet!!! One of my keys just starts the car and the other two open glove box and start the car..none of them will open the trunk or doors.I had new key made today and nothing. I have original keys that dont open doors and trunk...I was looking thru manual today and I see a tamper switch on the trunk and door locks???what is this???
could it be my locks have been disabled???? doors and trunk lock and unlock with the touchpads but not with keys! any more ideas?

Separate the switches etc electronics mentally from the keys and locks which are pure mechanics. Like trunk tamper sw which is for the burglar alarm. This and Driver door mechanical linkage has a switch which will connect as the key is turned: smtg happens, like alarm and/or solenoids activation based on this signal. The switches activate electronics, BUT your lock is still in mechanical control by your key via your hand.

Most probably your locks are dirty sticking an/or keys worn. You may try to lubricate the locks with non alcohol lock spray oil (use plenty during a week) and playing with ol keys. This might loosen/clean the lock internals from soot if liberally used. If that will not help, they have to be opened, cleaned or replaced.

The new key is not worn, has sharp edges (file it a little to round its edges somewhat). If its a copy of worn keys, nogood. Try to get keys by car vin.
