differential?

differential?

I'm replacing a cv joint and i need to know how to figure out what type of differential i have.

94 se dohc 5 speed no anti lock brakes

Probably a limited-slip....Most DOHC cars have them...it will probably be easer to replace the whole axle shaft than just the CV joint itself.Usually, the axle seal were the shaft goes into the tranny, is a smaller seal that the open differential, replace them to.

I have as of yet to see a non-LSD VE car.
but just to confirm, look at the metal plate that is top dead center of the firewall. the trans code starts with with RS and should end with a "5V" or "5A" V= LSD
