how do u install

how do u install a strut bar exactlly do u have to jack the car up does it relieve pressure on the spring i wanna no cause i have a itching to order one from ebay and oh yeah i am excitd my cai is on the wya cant wait ....

no man, you pop the hood and you will find 3 bolts where the strut come through the wheel base. take them off and place the strut bar on the base and put the bolts back on.

see where the strut base is, and you look close you see the bolts you have to take out. is just going on top of the base in between the bolts.*** don't jack the car up ****

off topic...but whats with these plastic cover things there are putting on all the new cars....I think it looks ugly...who ever start the trend to put plastic covers over the motor needs to die

thats my old car the 02 max............. it gives it a clean look don't it... no likie?

I definatly agree, I like the way an engine looks, so why cover it with a silly piece of plastic, it only weighs the car down more...

Yeah, but it seems like the newer engines are definately nothing to look at.

1) buy the right bar for your VE/92+.......

2) park on flat, level surface
3) see first reply in this thread
4) adjust bar so that it *almost* tries to spread apart the mounts (no or little slack)
5) use torque wrench to re-tighten 3 nuts to 35 ft-lbs
