you have to be more specific. is car making any noises, smoking etc. if running rough after you pushed car to the limit you proly blew a head gasket. Check if there is coffe colored oil under the Cap. is there any antifreeze leaking from the engine. what color is (if any) the smoke coming from the back of your car?

So your oil is Coffe colored? (light brown) that mean that water is mixing with your oil. Thats not a good sign.

Young Man, please slow down!! You can get hurt going that fast. Also if you get caught going that fast , you will loose your driving privlige and be paying the Man some big bucks on a fine, not to mention how it would effect your insurance
Now, to your problem, With the engine running, pull a coil pack connector off one by one, when you pull one off and it does not change the way the engine in idling, or it does not cause the engine to stummble, that is the first problem to go to. Pull the spark plug out and check its condition. If it looks really, really, really clean, then coolant has breached the head gasket and is getting in the cylinder. If it is covered in thick oil, the oil has breached the head gasket.
If it is a gasket failure, you can save a ton of money by doing it yourself and learn to turn some wrenches. Get a FSM or a chilton guide and follow it. It is not real hard just very time consumming.
It took me 20 hrs and I`m a girl.

Ask away young man, thats what this forum is all about. We are here to help each other.....
If the engine was running fine before you poored the coal to it and you have a cylinder not firing and is real dry looking, or wet with oil, you have a blown head gasket. How many miles on the engine? Over time, of hot and cold and hot and cold can eventualy warp a aluminum head. Heat is the worst enemy of aluminum. If your not sure it is a blown gasket, take it to a local repair shop and pay them their "car check out fee" and see what they say. It should be a minimal charge if any.
BTW, you do have a VE30DE engine, dont you???

I remember that gas problem around here... I think that problem is long gone by now, so you probably don't need to worry about it. Last I heard of that happening in Louisville was 6 months ago, I don't know about Madisonville, though.

And I understand, you're a 17 year old guy on the highway and want to test the limit... I've done the same. Just sucks when your car pays the penalty of a short power trip.
