Hey there, has anyone ever had their windshield wipers just start failing. They tend to just work when they want to, and quit working when I really need them, which sux. But if anyone has had that problem before, what did you do? Thanx!!!

 

Check your motor and the linkage. Make sure everything has a good connection and is tight. If it is the motor, just got to a junk yard and give 10 bucks for one. Quick and easy fix.

 

mine used to work on and off when they wanted to, but I looked around and found the problem was the fuse
it wasn't blown, it just wasn't making good connection between the contacts so sometimes when it wasn't working, if I pushed and wiggled the fuse, ti would work
I just took out the fuse and bent the ends slightly so it made a tighter fit in the socket and have had no problems since then
hopefully yours is something that simple too =)

 

mine work fine but the wipers sucks. they leave streaks and really dont push away water that well. i just changed them recently (caused they got messed up during winter) so i think i am going to get some of that wipe on rain repellent stuff.
