Any soundclips or sound descriptions of magnaflow 14815 muffler and ebay cai?

BTW, how does the magnaflow muffler sound on the ve30de? I heard it's loud. The other day, i saw this 3rd gen ve maxima and it had some universal muffler and it sounded terrible. What was the problem ith the car? It didn't sound good at all. Any experiences with the magnaflow?

And how does a cai sound on the ve? similar to the 4th and 5th gens at WOT? BTW, all I have is a maf adaptor and cone filter.

Thanks in advance. I appreciate it.

Most V6's don't sound very good with a straight through muffler. But of course, I'll get flamed for that...

mr gone, What muffler do you have? Sounds any good? So what's a good muffler that sounds like the greddy evo on the 5.5 gens? 350z sound?

MrGone has a GReddy catback. It sounds awesome. Nice and deep with no "bees in a can" at all. It sounded so good that I bought one.

Also, when you take out the stock intake and put in a midpipe, you will love the sound. Jeff92SE made mine and I love it. I also have the rest of my CAI, but I haven't had the free time to install it yet.

I will recommend that if you do buy the ebay CAI you immediately throw away the crappy filter and buy a K&N or something a little more dependable.

I have the ebay cai and the wsp full 2.5" exhaust with a magnaflow muffler. I really like how it sounds but it is very loud. It only sounds a little ricey when the engine is cold. When it warms up it sounds nice. It has a throaty and deep tone to it. If you like it loud without the bees in the can sound, you should get this exhaust. From wsp it's $590 with y-pipe, hi-flow cat, and catback. You can also choose from a few different mufflers.

The GReddy is only cat back and costs about $550 or so. Do a google search for "GReddy SP exhaust Maxima" and you will find several tuner companies that still carry them, as GReddy discontinued the 3rd gen with the SP2.

You should get a y-pipe before any other exhaust mods, which will run about $200 shipped from Warpspeed. I think the Warpspeed package 505Max has is a much better deal, but it will depend on the muffler how loud it is.

You should do a little searching to find out all this other stuff about which ones are straight through. Every company that makes exhaust has a website with all of the specs on their mufflers.

Actually, in real life, it sounds like garbage! lol It's just freakin loud! It's not a muffler, I was just kidding. It's, pretty much, open headers.

i got the warpspeed/magnaflow 2.25 all the way back, its a lil loud, drones at like 1500rpm when when warmed up. i think that might be the model number of magnaflow muffler i got, cant remember though.
