Any Suggestions For this???

I am changing out my fuel injectors and have a bit of sludge ******* the fuel chambers. I'd like to remove it, but don't want it to fall into the engine. Any tricks? I've got an idea, but wanted to hear from the experts.

Thanks

Non ex pert guess: vacuum/suck off with narrow, vacuum taped hose -or- soak to q-tips.
