transmission fluid

hi...i recently checked my fluid and its not exactley red..its seems more like reddish brown but more red to it...i brought my car to the shop where i had the fluid changed about 1 month ago..and the mechanic says that it doesnt look that bad...and doesnt really smelt burnt...i also add the slick 50 transmission additives to it too...do u guys think i should get it flushed since i didnt do it yet..or its fine ...as for the shifting...the first to second gear seems more noticeable when not giving too much gas..thanks...also any symptoms i can look out for..thanks

You don't say how many miles on your car or on this ATF???

In general, if in doubt, change it.

Skip the Slick 50. Or, maybe put in on your hair as a conditioner - never, ever in one of my vehicles.
