Steering wheel

Would an airbag steering wheel like from a 92 fit on a 90 non airbag car? I dont need the airbag to work, i just like the looks of it better.

no, swapping them over is very easy (well with a wheel puller anyway). Takes about 5mins. Hardest part is lining it up .

I think he was asking if it was a lot of work to get the airbag function to work, not how hard it was to install the wheel itself.

I don't know what is involved. I haven't had an airbag steering wheel on either of my Maximas. I would imagine there is some kind of computer or sensors, but I don't know if they already exist (like the plugs for power seats) or not.

yeah, there is a computer below the center console (radio part), then a sensor on the front grill. IIRC all the wiring and stuff is wrapped in yellow, and the spool part inside the steering wheel itself is a PITA to mess with (from what Jeff and Matt (iirc) have said).
