How well documented is your Max?

Well, how much of your Maxima's original documentation do you have?

I have:
All of the manuals
All of the original warranty books
All of the Nissan Security Plus papers
Booklets and coupons from the dealer that sold it new
Window sticker
Build sheet

I was inspired by the 'who has the newest' Maxima thread. Lets see who has the most original documentation for theirs

That's pretty impressive. I have all of the first four things you listed, but not the window sticker and the build sheet.

I have all of that, but no receipts before I got it. After I got it, I've got a stack of receipts about 3" thick.

LOL

I guess I've also got the pervious owner's receipts (exhaust work, 02 sensor install) plus some of my own (mostly for small things like air and fuel filters, plus a good coolant flush)

All receipts from day one it was first registered = 'nothin' but few stealership service docs, one belt change... But who needs 'em?

I guess I am the second .orger to have the window sticker. It was probably a special order car, as the sticker has no glue residue on it, and was sitting neatly folded in a Nissan envelope in the glove comp. I am the second owner, so I have the manual and all receipts for every single thing I have bought, not matter how small.

Oh, I have a factory service manual too.

I suspect mine was specially ordered too, since the window sticker was clearly never stuck to anything. My SE is a stripper by SE standards...no non-standard options at all...I doubt many left the factory that way.

I have the manuals, warranty books, business card from the original salesman, a newspaper article from 1993 talking about the Maxima, the window sticker, and the window sticker with the price tag and all that stuff which you see on new cars. Pardon the stupid question but coupons from dealer? and what does the build sheet look like I might have that too.

The previous owner was nice enough to keep all of his receipts from oil changes, to CV boot change, to tires ect....The owner prior to him didn't have anything, BUT carfax says when the oil changed/tire rotation until 79,XXX miles. It didn't specify whether any recalls or repairs were done under warranty, like my brothers carfax report on his 94 MX-6.

No window sticker here (though I have the one for the 87 SE I no longer have).

I'd say mine is documented well above average, but not nearly as responsibly as some of you. I'm sure I have 90% of the repair receipts at the very least. It's kinda weird how I seek out well-documented used cars, but don't do a good job of that myself.

I have the orginal key... thats it... I usually intend on keeping the recepts and records from now on... but it never happens.

But for the 280zx we have everything... the pervious owner even gave us a notebook where he kept track of the gas milage, how many gallons he filled up, and the price of that fill up (he was a bit crazy).

Its a long narrow yellow card with a lot of punched holes, the car's info, and Japanese characters...I'm pretty sure its a build sheet.

that makes for a car that I would pay more than KBB for.
I got my father-in-law a van like that 4+ years ago.
they beat on it now and it's still all good
and the owner had it detailed twice before giving over to us, gotta love europeans

only thing ive got is the darn manual. i dont even have the jack that sits in the rear, well not all of it. but i got some of my paperwork from fixing my car. i usually throw away receipts unless its worth keeping.

wait i do have the original paint match sticks in the nissan boxes. dont know if they came with the car or the owner bought it at the dealer. but being that i have the pearl white, nothing will ever really match it, especially since i was the first person to ever wax the car. 1991 furst wax job in 2004, crazy. thats why she needs painted.
