Where can i buy a timing gun?

I am going to advance my timing and im just gonna make sure i do it right so i need to find out where i can get a timing gun? can i just go to pep boys and get one?

get one at sears, use it, then take it back. I do it all the time. or wallmart

Thought about doing it but then to lazy to take it back, so i end up with a bunch of one time use tools

ya I picked up one on eBay for like $12. Make sure to get an inductive timing light. The one where you clip a lead onto the wire.

Buy a descent one at least. You can get the older inductive snap-ons (the non-digital ones) for under $35 on ebay but a craftsman chrome piece will do fine. I'm definitely against buying cheap ****ty tools though, my collection would be all snap-on if money grew on trees
