1. You didn't even post a link
2. By saying "sorry mods" you know your about to do something wrong, so why bother?

He's talking about those really crappy intakes on ebay that are made by a generic wanabe honda brand called mugen (which it isn't actually mugen because mugen isn't generic and it only makes parts for hondas)

Why do some ebay companies do stupid things like this anyway? I just don't understand it.

who says they are crappy? I like my chaep ebay intake. It is the exact same design as PRI and about 1/4 the price and is aluminum (I think that cools the air a little better but probably doesnt make a difference). The filter isnt the best although I got a decent on and not the crappy one with a screen on the end (what a poor design for a filter) but a K&N can be put on it. It also fits very well...check my site for pics.

Mine wasn't a fake Mugen though but some other company. The funny thing is someone stole my engine bay pic and was selling their intakes off of my picture. I didnt even buy it from them is what was so bad. They took it down once I called them on it though...they said a customer of theirs sent it to them saying it was theirs but after I showed them my site they took it as proof and took it off of their auctions.

awsm66, I have the exact same intake as you. I was just talking ish about some company puting the mugen name on an intake for a maxima. The only reason it's crappy is because it has mugen written on it.

BTW I love my ebay intake

gotcha...for the money you cant beat the one like I (we) have thats for sure.

I do like the Jeffy intake though and considered making one like it for my 92 but since I already had this one I just used it and will weld up the hole on the 93.

yup thats basically the exact one I have except mine is polished and doesnt have a Mugen sticker on it.

That is not a true Mugen intake though like others have said. Mugen is Honda only I do believe.

Another thing is the sticker will be upside down when you install it on the car the way they have it stuck on there lol.

Of course it may not actually be a sticker on there but some photo shop work instead. I know on the picture of mine that the ebay company used (stole) they did a photo shop of it and put their name on it to look like a sticker.

I know Mugen is only Honda. I just wonder what people be thinking when they throw these stickers on. Maybe they think some Honduh ricer has a max and wants to continue the loyalty to Mugen (Atleast they think it's Mugen)
