has anyone had their recirc stop working? whether the button is in/on or out/off it is still blowing fresh air. Is there a motor that commonly goes out or any ideas of what to check?

 

Is the lever to the far left all the way down? If it is up that will let air in as well.

 

lever is down. i'm going to pull it apart this weekend to find out exactly what it is.

 

I fixed mine when i swapped in ACC I just opened it up took all gears out took out main gear with contacts and bend those down a little and clean metel track on the casing. when u open it up ull understand what i mean. and mark where arm is on shaft with a marker or position will be all messed up

 

Hey, is the thing you are talking about in this picture?

The thing I point out in that thread has been "clicking" on me for about a month now. I was guessing that it maybe slipping gears? Do you know how I would even get to this thing? I mean what do I have to remove to get enough access to take this out?
