I'd highly suggest get an FSM (Factory service manual)
the MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) is a bit expensive to throw at the car without proof of problem.
however, i don't believe the problem to be the MAF because it revs fine in neutral.
I'd be checking for a miss first.
when was the last time a tuneup was done (Cap Rotor Wires Plugs Air Filter Fuel Filter ETC)?

hey thanks for the reply! i got this car as a gift so I dont really know when a tune up was done but my uncles friend ( the one who gave it to me ) said a machanic fixed it. I just checked my air filter and it looked fine just a little dust.. i hear seafoaming is good? i might try that if i can find it than switching my oil filter and give it a oil change. Im not really sure where my cap rotor is nor wires or plugs. Thanks for helping guys! oh ya whats a " miss " ?

p.s this board sure does move fast.

A miss is when 1 or more cylinders are not working

i recently left my headlights on and my battery died so i had to jumper it from a friends car. anyways would that effect any power loss? i still have the same battery and did not replace it yet.

I just had a very similar problem to yours and got my fixed. Your check engion light on? Mine wasnt, had a seriousl loss of power and turned out i blew my catalidic converter, it was basicly clogged, car couldnt breath. Any way new cat was bout 150 bucks + labor. I got a new tps, check MAF , and did a full tune up and still had the loss of power, gave up and dropped it off at a nissan specialist. I dunno how you could check ur cat other than seeing if the exhaust smells like ****, if it does, its def ur cat.

Two good sniffs on the exhaust and u're dead.

Points to auto. That means TCU connections bad to TPS or engine rev sensor (or TCU).

U did not read carefully -and/or- all if u ask.

What is quaranteed that in any 10 year old car, contact problems are waiting their chance. Will it help in this particular problem? Only you can ensure it by cleaning... or is it better to swap first that 500$ MAF??? ...and then clean connectors.

KEEPING all things CLEAN, will avert 50% of problems.

That works as well on drivers soul, passengers pants, as on cars connectors.

I am absolute sure cleaning will work for u!
