Can anyone do better than $600 for JWT ECU

Even if you somehow (miracle from God maybe?) made a group deal successfully, I doubt the price would go south of $450-500. Best bet might be to wait and see how the Zemulator project pans out. Otherwise check Ebay for a used unit maybe?, but even then I'd be very wary of fraud.

The ZEMulator is only for those people that want full control over their ECU. It sounds scary, but it's not once you spend a little time understanding the tuning process. If you want to go the easy way out, then you can just get an ECU upgrade, which AshSPEC will offer also for MUCH cheaper than JWT. The final price isn't released yet, but the z32 ECU upgrade is $300. I don't think the VE ECU upgrade will be more than $400. It's still a GREAT price for a dyno proven ECU upgrade!

But, once Ash gets my car on a dyno, he will be able to make an ECU upgrade for the VE that is reliable and will have dyno proof of the power increase. He will also tune a stock VE, I'm sure, to get a better idea of how to make a RELIABLE program and still increases power.

what about the 5spd guys? Is he going to leave the power valve alone or is it even programmable in the first place?

yeah but i mean on the preprogrammed ones how is he going to make it optimal if he uses your car for his dyno numbers? You have an auto and although you have a VI it isnt run by the computer so he has nothing for his base to go by.
Is he going to get a 5spd to work with also?
