Painted a Rim

I didnt much care for the white on black look so i figured i would give it a try
Yes I spray bombed them and i know that in the long run it might chip and such but if that happens ill just sand them down again and spray them with my gun. Well it turned out great. Way better than i imagined i was originaly going to go with a gunmetal but found this color and loved it its like metalic bronze.

i used dupli color wheel coating and their clear coating. i used two cans and one can of gloss i was very surprised at how much was actually in the cans because i had originaly bought 4 cans of base and 2 clear but its on thick and i didnt want to over do it. As for the paint quality was pretty good for a spray bomb i have no runs and i could apply it very thick and it wouldnt bubble. who knows though it might last for ever or it might last a week we shall see.
As for the color i like it and i think it will be tasefully different dont see to many black 3rd gens with bronze wheels

Looks Harv, I think it will look pretty decent on there. When I had it I was thinking about 16x7 Rota Slipstreams in a bronze color. They only weigh like 13.5 pounds and I think they would look good on a max.

awsm66---your car looks really sharp in that pic, I think it looks really similar to a Mercury Marauder with the tinted headlights and corner lights and the stance of the car at that angle. Sorry to compare it to an American car but it really looks good
