heating problems???

I have 93 maxima SE...
I am forced to sit shivering in my car.. no heat...???
I didn't have this problem earlier. I was playing with heat/cold control slider. After that I get only cold air....

I checked coolant level which is OK. and the on dasboard the gauge needle is middle between H and C.

When I slide the heat/cold control doesn't seem to make any difference. Any pointers guys to debug the problem...??

Could it just be connector popping out or something like that...??? It does blow the air.. so blower motor is fine...
winter is back in full swing now.. 20 -30F.. I got to fix this soon...

Check that.

Also at engine bay firewall theres the main coolant valve; boosted via vacuum, electric controlled. Check its hose, valve coil & received voltage.

also,
make sure your fresh air circulation vent is closed. sometimes the cables that closes it slips out of place.
