Mirrors

I was looking at my friends 240 and I noticed that our sideview mirrors are almost identical? Do these fit our cars? My mirrors are all chipped off and I need new ones but I can't find any for my car. It's like beige is extinct? lol All of the later 90's Nissans look like they have identical sideview mirrors?

Yeah, but I'm going to a junkyard today after school and they've got a ton of Nissan's. They're limited on Maxima's, but I'm goin to see if I can't find some beige ones to match the car. The only other color I'd go with would be black.

while you're at the junkyard you should take a mirror off of a 3rd gen and compare it to a 240 mirror (or vice-versa).

Well, the 240 that they had were all trashed. I found the mirrors, but he wanted too much for them. He told me to come back in a week and he'll mark them down for me? I dunno why, but he insisted. I did get a free speedometer cluster out of it though. I got me some white face gauges now!!

A friend of mine has a 240 also, and I was thinking the same thing. The mirror shell looks identical, but you'll have to transfer the guts from the Maximna mirror to the 240 mirror. Power mirrors weren't standard on 240s and even if you're lucky to find power 240 mirrors, I doubt they were heated like on the Maxima.

(For 240 owners on the otherhand, I suppose getting heated Maxima mirrors would be a nice swap).

What about the 300ZX Z32 mirrors? They look pretty identical?
