keyless entry door pad

keyless entry door pad

hey guys i have a question for you, on my max on the front doors there is a
key pad in which lets you open the doors, etc, i went to use it today nothing, i tried the driver and passenger side nothing, is there is fuse for it, or is it done? thanks for your time

you can check for a broken fuse. one thing i've heard about the keypads is that they tend to act weird in damp weather. if you can try parking your car in a garage for a day or two that may help.
the keypad computer may also be malfunctioning. that's located underneath the dash to the side right of the glovebox. if you wish to change it you can access it by removing the glovebox. easy stuff.

Check and see if theres a tear in the pads cause water may have gotten in and screwed them up thats what happened to me. Its $80 to get another one from dealer and the labor fees will kill you.
