what Rpm do you lauch your 3rd gen?
Well I have done some 2.3 60ft at the track. BUt today I was playing with my g tek. I normaly get 2.4 or maybe 2.3 on it. Well one of the times that I tryed it I did like a 2.0 flat. My very best. I lauched at 3100 to 3000 and road the clutch of nicely with just a little spin to keep from bauging. I could not go the full 1/4 but my 1/8 was sweet. 9.10. 0 to 60 was like 5.9. I checked the safc to read the rev and it said the highest rev was 5994 rpms. SO the shift was perfect. So what rpm do you lauch at. And are you a VE or Vg? Whats your best 60ft?

im not realy sure on the 1/4 as I have not been to one due to sliping clutch. the 1/8 is right in my home town. I guessing like 14.2 to 14.4 on 6psi. its a torque monster. We will see soon. A few more things to do and then 1/4 mile track and dyno.
-I did a 2,800-3,00rpm slip clutch to get 2.2 60ft.
-Part-throttle dump clutch at 2,500rpms and went WOT as soon as the tires caught and got 2.3-2.4.
-2,500 slip clutch until 2,800-2,900rpms, dumped it at that point to get a small sqeal from the tires, and got slightly lower 2.3 60ft than the above.
Driving to work, I rarely launch it above 900rpms from the start.

Why can't you rev to whatever rpm while your left foot is on the brake pedal??
I'd say 600-700 rpms cuz its an automatic and I can only use the gas pedal, and because puting it on (n) to rev and (D) to drive might cause trany problems.

redline it then drop the clutch... 10 or so second 60 ft.
just kidding of course.
i need to get to a track and see what i can do, especially with the new wheels and tires. should be able to get a nice 60 ft. now.
