Exhaust Leak......
I have a new wsp full 2.5" exhaust. When I installed it, I overtightened the flange from the y-pipe to the cat and the flange from the cat to the b-pipe. Now it leaks. The flanges are only two bolt flanges and if you overtighten them they will bend like this =()= (the equal signs represent the piping and the paratheses represent the flanges). They aren't actually bent very much at all but, it is leaking some. Any ideas on how to fix it easily? Maybe something I can put over it like putty or if I took it to an exhaust shop, how would they fix it without welding it together?
that doesnt make sense. Its supposed to have gaskets between them and they should be flat when pushed up against each other anyway. If they are truly flat (like they should be) then they cant bend like you are talking about.
If you didnt get gaskets with the kit call them back and ask them to send them. If for some reason they did bend then that means that they were made incorrectly.
if they are bent slightly then you might try sandwitching two gaskets per connection to see if that helps.

I've decided that I'm probably going to sandwitch two aluminum (not crappy papper gaskets) between each connection.

You have to unbend the flanges. Cattman Y flanges are thin and bend easy. You will probably never get a good seal without getting the flanges straight. DAMHIK this. Normal 2 bolt/3 bolt exhaust connections are iffy at best when they are straight. Trying to seal bend flanges is an excercise in futility.
