Infiniti G35 Rims

Hey, if you guys remember I had posted a thread asking about rims, well turns out my dad scored a set of 2005 Infiniti G35 Rims for free, we don't have them yet but I was wondering if anyone knew how well they'd fit my 92se? Supposed to be 17" stock. we'll see

well I just got back from tuscon, had to help a friend move out there, and I have confirmed it's in AZ. although it was quite the journey in a U-haul truck, I had plenty of fun in his mazdaspeed protege on the way home. To clarify, I'm borrowing his car until I get my maxima in running condition. was quite nice of him to lend me it for two weeks!

I'm not too sure actually, my dad said g35, and that they're 17" rims. I lookd it up and the G35 actually has three different types of rims, i believe they were 17" 18" aluminum, and then 18" forged aluminum. of course mine are only the 17" but hey thats still bad ***

anyone know the weight on the 17" rims?

g35 coupe rims are staggered and are not the same whatsoever as the g35 sedan.

sedans will fit perfectly. i've never seen the coupe rims on the 3rd gen, yet those would look sweet as heL$L.

i hope to be getting g35 coupe 18s on my maxima. I dont think the rims are staggered. i think they are 18x8s all around the tires are taller in the back though.

some guy was complaining that his g35 sedan 17s didnt fit, but i think it was only a tire issue in the end. anyway your rims will fit, just make sure you get right tires so you dont have rubbin and scrubbin.

Nope they should be fine. The OEM wheels on the coupe are 18" and for 2005, now come with 19" as an option. Either would fit as long as the tire diameter is decent (should be 225/40 with the 18").

factory on 18 coupes is 225/40 on fronts and rears are 245/40 for the G35

hmm, so the sedans have matching front and rears right? And the coupes have mismatching front and rear tires? but that can be fixed by just changing the tire right?

No, the rear wheels are an inch wider I believe. I had 350Z wheels on my car and I just bought all 4 fronts. It easier for me though because I work at Discount Tire and we have our O.E. wheels program!!

The G coupe wheels in the 18" size last year were all 18x8 with the same 30mm offset. G wheels are the same as Z wheels.

My bad, I thought that he was talking about the 17's. The fronts are 17X7 1/2 and the rears are 17X8.

Has anyone tried other Infiniti wheels on their 3rd gen? I like the 2nd generation 5-spoke star wheel that the Q45 and I30/35 came with, or the 18" 8-spoke...the most killer 8-spoke ever...

g35 is not 350z rim

G35 coupe rim 18x8

350z rim 18x8

350z rim is same as the Maxima (04 atleast) rims and new big body Altima has them as well although Altimas may just be the 17s.

There is a pic of a 3rd gen with 1st gen 5spoke I30t rims (98-99) on cardomain, though I can't recall which year.

There was a maroon 3rd gen SE (1989-1991) on here that had 00-01 I30t rims (17" one). I can't remember who it is though because I said it years ago.

update: found out that the rims are from an 05 G35 Sedan, and they are 5 single Spoke, not the 5 double spoke. I don't have them yet, neither do I have my car, but this weekend will tell

I like the solid bar 5-spokes of the sedan. I think I photoshopped them onto my car once.

Infinti G35 Coupe Rims

Hey folks...sorry to interupt...

I was wondering if I could fire a question at you guys on the subject of G35 Coupe rims...

I recently purchased a 2003 G35 Coupe from a friend of the family (steal of deal really), and he never drove it in the winter. I am told I cannot leave those stock wheels on in the winter or I would not get too far. So....that being said, I am in the market for some new winter radials for the car.

I am taking this opportunity to get some new rims as well. End result will be the existing stock tires om the new rims and the new winter tires on the existing stock rims. But.....I need some help. Although I do know a bit about tires (as much as any normal car owner I guess), I know squat about rims.

I heard terms such as... 5 bolt rims, 114mm sizes, etc... Can any of you tell me what these sizes mean and how they are measured?

Does anyone know what size stock rims are on my 2003 Coupe? I would have to get the same size in order to utilize the stock tires (they are still like brand new).

Thanks Guys....I appreciate any help you can give this novice wheel buyer.

well you could have 17s or 18s. do they look like mine? if so they are 18s otherwise you have 17s. there is a wheel and tire section too check it out.

if you have the pilot sports on them, you wont et very far in snow, they are summer tires, but you may have all seasons on there especially if its an 03' so go check your tires and see what they are.
