Heat with gauge pointing to "C"?
Im about to fix my car running on "cold" issue.. I figured it was the T-stat, but how can that be if when I drive and the car is on cold, I still get plenty of heat? Too much actually. The car is at normal temp during city driving, go on the highway and it drops to "C", but still heat. Take heed though, before it can be a gauge problem or something like that, I do get poorer fuel economy on "C", I feel it.. What would be the best way to analyze this problem? Thanks alot guys.

If I remember right, this winter talk was:
"1. internetautomator: bleed the sucker. read the stickies"
"2. wiking: yes thats it. and clean connectors..."
Shield u engine; still there is a problem...

If the engine goes cold, ECU 'drops' O2 sensor. Increases injection. Uses TPS to compensate. Fuel consumption increases enourmously...
Gene Rally: I think the water circulation is unfriendly to user =long warmup, high gas consumption, wide open wallet... Maybe one low temp add on thermostat inside radiator input hose would be good during winter? http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748507/8
