ok, i gotta do some work on my brakes. how do you tell if your rotors need to be replaced other than if they have big guoges or are warped. is there a certain thickness they should be? same question for the drums. i dont know if they need to be replaced. also, what is a resonable price to pay for stock rotors? slotted rotors? cross-drilled rotors? i was told that cross-drilled are good for short track racing and slotted are better suited for daily driving. is this correct? also whats a good brake pad for the drums?
thanks in advance

if you're not sure about whether they should be replaced or not, take them to a local parts store. almost all parts stores will be able to measure them and see if they're too thin or worn and need replaced.

as for all your other questions, use the search function. they've been answered several times this week on this board alone.
