but if your going L.E.D.'s behind your guages you must get the ones that are made for such an application or you will get "hot spots" hot spots lighten only small areas behind the guages and leave the rest dark... i have seen it before and it looks really bad.
-but im using normal 194 red (high quality) bulbs. looks great, lights everything.

as ya'll are on the topic of gauges, i tried to switch out my guages to white ones but after moving the needle and reconnected it, my guages read all messed up. So i just went to the junkyard and pulled one, but no my OD dont read from the same point because of the different models. So now i have to find a cluster thats for my car so i can have the OD light up. Was i suppose to pull the needles?? Or just did something wrong?

when you said white gauges, did you get the whole unit i.e. with motor and housing? or just the white faces. if you got the whole housing, I believe you can just yank the whole old housing out and swapping new ones in, they are held together by a couple of screws I believe. If it was just the faces, then I can't really answer the question, but this I do know, when trying to pull the needle, first lift the just a tad so that it passes the pin that stops it at 0, and let it come to a full rest, mark that location, then pull, so when you put the new face on, you can align the needled to where it was, then put it back to the 0 position, above the pin again.
