Who would be interested? I spoke with someone that works there and let him know, he said it would just require volume. How many are actually interested? I got mine for my 4th gen for $85. I was so impressed with them I want them for my 92 now. They are MUCH beefier than the stock mounts.

Yes, you burn or press out the old ones and press in the new ones, they are STRONG! I just did mine on the 97 yesterday, took about 1-2 hours mostly due to a PITA bolt.

 

I am not sure yet, I wouldnt think they would be much more than the 4th gens.

 

I'm not sure if you can just "press" them out. They are sorta glued in there. You would have to burn them out ala lower control arm style. I just lit my old control arm on fire last weekend hehe.

Maybe they can built some inserts that you just put in on each side to fill the hole in the ve mount. Not 100% but it might be a little better. But you would have to hold the inserts in there with two big flat washers etc..

 

That is how my stockers came out, propane torch and about 15 minutes of 1FSTMAX's time. I like their full insert, it is very strong, I will see if I can get some pics.

 

If you put the full inserts into a hollowed out stock mount, I guess you need to be able to hold them in securely.

 

They are a little tough to slide in, but with grease the can go in, 1FSTMAX used some crazy trailer hitch move with his dads truck to press mine in. Once they go in, there is a stopping part on the mount, so once it pops through to the other side it fans out, kind of like those butterflys you put in your ceiling, but not as intense.

i literaly burned donalds motor mounts out. I couldn't find the right adapter to press the original insert. So I used a propane torch, and just let the rubber burned out. Then i used a sawzall to cut two notches into the metal insert to relieve some pressure. Then i used a air chizel and removed the metal insert from the motor mount. I lubed the motro mount bracket with some motor oil and pressed in the es bushing into place.

 

i just put the motor mount with the es bushing in place on a jack and place it under the two hitch of my dads truck, and jacked up the jack.

yeah, but would you be willing to attempt a solid urethane mount (no rubber innards)? since the metal piece in the middle isn't quite in the center that makes it a bit harder... not impossible though. i've came up with a very easy way to do it... but just haven't done it yet.
