Sea foam made my car sooo sluggish ???

Hey guys, please refer to this problem first before adressing the sea foam problem http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=384886 so the car has a problem first of all, fuel injector? i don't know, but i figured before i brought it to a mechanic i'd try some sea foam as i know lot swear by it, thinking maybe i have a clogged injector, so i follow directions, let the vaccum line suck it up, let the car sit, let it smoke, drive it around, and my car is 10 times more sluggish and slower than before, to the point where i struggled to get up a hill from a stop at a light. Has anyone expirienced this before? Does this mean i did have a clogged injector and perhaps the foam made it a big worse instead of lossening the clog? help please guys....

Well for one, they way you used it, won't clean the injectors. You put it the gas tank to clean the injectors.

He means take them out and check them. If they are all clean then put them back in. If one is dirty or has residue on it then that is the bad injector's location. It doesn't matter if you had just changed them if the injector is garbage then you'll see crap all over it.

If you had a lot of carbon buildup, then you may have given your 02 sensor a mouth full. There is also the possiblity that the 02 sensor was over heated. If its old you should replace it anyway.
