wtf this must be to good to be true

i was searching for some prices on the d2s for my friend eg and found a bunch of sites selling the full kit for our maxima and even on the d2s website they have them listed
http://d2racing.com/html/coiloapps.html
i sent out a few emails to reps and some other distributors to get some info on these and im going to make a few phone calls 2moro but has anyone herd if this is for real
maybe this has been discussed before but i dont see how this is right
not trying to make a dumb post just trying to get some input

Well the A31 certainly isnt the USDM 3rd gen Max

AFAIK the A31 is the Cefiro, which isnt quite a 3rd gen Max, and I wouldnt suspect the struts would be the same. The Cefiro is RWD first of all so the rears I would think would most certainly be different

how about that site is sooo annoying to read since they didnt put a semicolon after &nbsp i cant read that crap, no patience. And I think that too many people have put like 5 to 6 hundred easy bucks into their suspension already (atleast those who arent stock) and i wouldnt think everyone would be quick to rush out and buy them, especially being that Matt cant even get coilovers right on the max. i wish you the best of luck in your quest.

ill ask the rep about the a31
he emailed me back and told me that they do indeed sell the kit for our car and hes going to try and get pictures
but it seems sketchy with the hole a31
i understand people wont be quick to buy them but if they are anything like the d2 they make for all the other cars this is a great kit and we are in luck other site were selling the kit for 1000 so it wont hurt to spend the extra buck on a full coiolver system rather than 800 on the eibach koni setup and this way we get new strut mounts with camber adjustment and they struts are 36 way adjustable on top
i guess it just sounds to good to be true ill get some more info and be back

yeah... i'd definitely be in as well. i don't like the idea of getting the koni's at all due to no external adjustment.

I doubt it. How would they have made any sales with that mistake on there. Reminds me of custom maxima.

If you guys do a part number search on google for it, four or five other websites show up as having them for the 89-94 Maxima. Everyone probably has the same misinformed app. guide

This mistake has probably gone unnoticed for the duration of the product's existence because I doubt these websites have even actually ever SOLD a pair for the Cefiro and therefore wouldnt know of a possible mix-up. I mean really, how many A31 Cefiro's are rolling around the streets in your city?

Hahaha,

since there is only ONE VE 5-speed in my entire city (yes, that would be mine), I guess the odds are pretty good that there are ZERO Cefiros.

the only maximas in my cit.... uh... villag.... town, there we go, are ours. two maxima... both owned by my family and i. i pretty much make up the whole import scene here.

man... i sure hope these work... but, sadly... i know they probably won't.

guess someone could always order them and then give the company absolute hell when they don't fit and force them make some for the maxima with a lawsuit or something.

there is where the problems lies, your not gonna find enought people to shell out the money, when push come to shove its very hard to get all the people who say "Im down" to actually pay up. There was a chance to have coilovers, they were only gonna be like 1400 bucks I think but we only had about 6 or 7 people willing to pay.

Yeah when that Cattman deal fell through, I think that was the last realistic chance. I really thought that was gonna happen. I actually was gonna be in on that deal too

I wish the CF deal would've fallen through instead of the Cattman deal
