I need help big time.....

Hi, my 93se auto is being a piece....on top of the numerous problems it already has its getting more by the day but most recently.....

it all started a couple of weeks ago when I went to conn. to work and left my car at my dads house well my dads girlfriend decided to start my car and whatnot everyday....and suprise, suprise when i get back its dead and the keys wouldn't come out. Its been dead before but the keys would always come out with the button release(and no, the wheel was not locked) also now the dome light is not funtional so i left it in the middle position so it wouldn't drain the battery. now, the past couple weeeks i've come out to see it dead probally at least a 1/2 dozen times and jumped it and it would immediatley start right up when jumped. now about a week ago i went to the store and come back out to see just about all the hazard lights on the dash lit up....but no keys in the ignition...odd, but it started up and ran fine....

now today:
I go to get food, open the door and see the dash lights on, odd....started right up and all turned off....i left the car running when i went to go get food....now when i get back to my dads, I cannot shut the car off...i can click down to turn the heat and then one more to turn the cd player off, but the car will not turn off and let the keys release....so I go home to my moms house and the same thing....so i ripped the rubber thing off around the ignition and next to the button release is this little red tab, so i pushed it with a skrewdriver and the keys came right out but the car was still running, but no heat and no other electric would work, so i poped the hood and unplugged the maf so it turned off but now the dash hazard lights are back on and the signals work while off and its gonna drain my battery real quick....this car is really starting to bother me......Help Please....I don't wanna take it to a shop.

As much as i would say that i hope it works, i think your problem is past charging the battery and hoping it disappears.

sounds like you have lots of problems, bad relays, possibly some wrong fueses or bad ones in there, maybe a problem in your steering column as far as your key not coming out, bad grounds, could be many things, has anyone including you wired anything aftermarket into the car i.e. system, fogs etc...?

charged battery, everything went great, key was coming out and turning the car off like it was suposed to and last night i ran the car for a few hours, good idle. good throtle response and then out of now where when i was parked it died, eventually started back up, went to go home died again, sounded like it really wanted to turn over but wouldn't, i'm guessing alternator......I'm really starting to dislike my lemon.

Might be a bad ignition relay.

edit: There are two behind the kick panel, to the left of the brake pedal. And there is at least one under the hood.

start the car let it run for a minute take off the positive terminal and if the car shuts off the alternator is dead

oh man...

from someone who knows what he's talking about....

replace your battery. funny things happen when the battery is not fully charged. the computer must have 12-14 volts. when it gets below that (or above it) it will misinterpret signals, sending the wrong information to various electricals. Do this, first and foremost! If you're still having problems, you THEN problem solve for the said issues. It doesn't work to try and diagnose an issue when you have another one overlapping it.

secondly, for the who's saying "unhook your battery's positive terminal while running" ....

DON'T EVER DO THAT. EVER.

Your alternator requires what they call a "reference voltage". It's hard to explain for those who don't know the inner workings of an alternator, but it's true. To operate correctly, the alternator must be hooked up to some sort of power. Without that reference source, the alternator discharges hundereds of ampres at an increased voltage, most certainly frying any electrical component (including itself).
