clutch problem

lately i have noticed that the clutch has been slipping sometimes ill try an accelerate fast out of second and it will just rev high and then slowly grab. but other times its ok. its a brand new exedy stage one. i have a new master and slave cylinder and the clutch pedal feels nice and firm. i did notice that it looks like the slave cylinder puts pressure on the clutch fork even though the clucth is not pushed in if that makes sense.
should the clutch fork be a bit loose?
also when i was putting in the master cylinder at first it wouldnt pump any fluid so i had to take it out and fill it and pump it manualy then it started pumping fluid
im stumped i put it all in correctly if its the clutch ill be pissed

are you sure its not your tires spinning and then grabing if it slipps in 2nd it should slip even worse in the 3rd 4th and 5th

when the clutch in my old camry went out it would only slip in 5th because that puts the most load on the clutch

sounds like you need to adjust your MC if its putting too much force on the SC without pushing the clutch in.

Loosen the jam nut on the rod that connects to the clutch pedal. Then move the rod so that it goes toward the clutch pedal. Dont go too far or your clutch will let out at the floor you would be amazed how much just a little adjustment does.

I just did the opposite because my clutch let out at the floor almost. I adjusted the rod so that it goes toward the engine bay and now it lets out closer to the top like I like it.

Anyway try that out before you burn your new clutch up.

make it go toward the seat...turn it like you are screwing it into the clutch pedal.

well it wasnt that it was already screwed into the clutch pedal as far as it can go
i think it might be because i bled the lines wrong when i tightened the slave screw it was with the clutch pedal up and not down so i might try that because it looks like the slave cylinder is pushing on the clutch fork even though the clutch is up
