Interesting thread about coil packs

and a nice post about platinum/copper plugs. You might have to have search to read this but oh well, donate!

I might try this. I hope I don't ruin a good coil taking it apart. I pm'd Chris about taking apart one of his old cracked coils but nooooooo replyyyyyyyyy. Anyone tear one apart for kicks?

We probably don't have that long spring but it looks like there is a seperate piece that connects the coil to the lower portion that attaches to the plug.

edit: I think it's probably mostly placebo

but I may take one apart since I think I have them in a box around here somewhere

I read your PM Jeff, but I can't remember where I put my bad coil packs. I know I have a front one that's cracked and a bad rear one that I marked, but I need to get out to the garage and find them.

Tonight I play basketball at 6:30. Maybe when I'll get back I will dig around for them.
