VG Ill ridah is doing a conversion with the lights I believe... They are from an A31? Cefiro... takes quite a bit of fabrication to make them work.

man i was wishing this would be a direct drop in, those lights look very nice IMO, def would look nice on a 3rd gen, jus not feelin the corner with the big orange reflector.

when i came accros this i was hopin it was for a 4th gen cause its pretty cheap but oh well, maybe another one of you guys can grab it and do a conversion.

if you dont have a grille ... then dont do it.
i have the lights in and working nice just no grille. and i cant find it ANYWHERE!! so yeah if you could get the grille i would get that first then get the lights. the lights are easier to come across

All I have is a Dremel, flat head screwdriver, a phillips, a power drill and accessories, a hell of a lot of cutoff disks, and a hammer. Now I am installing the other headlight tomorrow (5 hours for the passnger side because its the hardest).

They are definitely out of an A31 Cefiro 1988-1994.

That is nice, especially if the tinted corners were installed too. I wouldn't do that with my max though, unless I painted it a dark color.

Maxinct I believe. I think he's trying to sell it. He dropped his A/C to do it because the headlight is right in front of part of the condensor that goes to the radiator. I cut part of my headlight to make that adjustment. He rushed his job to get it over. I might endup putting in double the hours he did for my installation.

that car looks hot... Maybe Ill have to sell the e36's and pick up some cefiros. But since they are jdm wont the lights be aimed in the wrong direction since they drive on the other side of the road?

THe cutoff line is wrong but it's still an upgrade from stock. And at best there are only three Maxima's in the US with them. They're all in CT. lol. Me, Dysfunctional, and MaxinCT are all in CT and we all have cefiro's.

I am doing my driver's side tomorrow. I hope I measured my passenger side right. BTW Do you have your cefiros mounted higher towards the top of the radiator bracket or is it resting on the bumper? Either way there's a 1.5" gap.

Definately need a grill! That looks damn tight guys. Im lookin for a 4th gen maxima but yall keep comin with these nice *** pics of 3rd gens. Only problem is that all the 3rd gens where I live are not something I would even consider buying as a beater. There are only like 3 good ones and they arent sellin any time soon. One guy owns three 3rd gens. A white one, black one, and a pearl white one. He's been working on the black one for awhile. Anyways back on topic Nice maxima with the Cefiro lights. The gap I wouldnt care for. There is always something that could go there to cover it up.

i did some reading, and i found that the J30 maxima and A31 cefiro have exact same exterior lengths, but the maxima is wider by around 60mm..

so wouldn't it be a pretty tight fit in terms of width?

No, they are about the same width.

compare it to regular light/grille and the e36 combo

That **** is hot.....except the grille, i would take my grille (chrome), maybe melt-cut it down to fit in the gap at the right angle if i had to, if i had cefiroes in there...but that is hot stuff
