Looks really clean. Not a big fan of big, chrome wheels, but those are simple enough they look good. My .02: ditch the chrome fender moldings.

Looks good!
IMO: lose the spoiler, maybe some ve tails, get the windows tinted
i dont have a problem with the chrome trim, goes well with your wheels, just make sure its not rusting under there. if you're not sure either take them off and do some preventative maintenance..

black cars photograph so well .

I dont like chrome on an import BUT its your car so do what you like and not worry about anyone elses opinion.

You getting the kit painted professionally? Post what it costs because I am curious how much I saved and also we get the question of how much it will cost all the time.

Looks nice. I agree you should drop the chrome moulding. The rims are sweet though.

nope...no horn sticking out its head...just a regular carousel horse.

read a little more than half way down (post 19) in this thread for a description of it etc. I just thought it was a nice pic...nice background with the rocks, flowers, colors etc.

i do not plan on painting it, just selling it...i found a 99 se with 40k 5 speed too. but if i were to get it professionally painted, i would most definately paint the entire car so i cant help you out on the pricing. but plan on seeing another 4th gen soon!

I like the kit. I've been debating getting one for years. Though, somebody would probably crack the rear piece trying to fit their 15 foot SUV in to a 10 foot space. Then there's the wicked pot holes, so the front is toast. That leaves me with just the sides. Hmm... side skirts only. Yes maastah - that's it!

(FX: sound of rapid footsteps running into the laboratory, the clang of a heavy metal door, followed by an evil laugh)

the good thing about the stillen kit is that its urethane so light bumps and stuff will not crack it...just flex it.

True. And the fact that it's urethane is about the only thing that 'almost' justifies the cost of the Stillen kit. Without the urethane build it's a waste of time.
I've just had the worst effing luck with people thinking my bumper is there to help them park.
I need something like Kitt form the series Knight Rider. Good ole Kitt would open his trunk, shoot out a banana peel and hurl insults at the other car with an english accent for full effect.
For any of you wondering wtf I'm talking about. KnightRider was the David Hasselhoff series before Baywatch. Man I'm old.

Sorry, I'm not a fan of the big heavy chrome wheels and the bling bling fender chrome, stuff like that would have looked good on my '86 Ford Crown Victoria, but not on a sporty car like the 3rd gen max.

yeah...alot of you guys hate on the trim but it really brings out alot in my rims (which i personally love chrome). i put the rims on without the trim and it just didnt look as good to me so i left it.

for the first time ever, i actually don't mind the chrome fender trim. i don't know why but it really seems to suit this car.
