re-route pcv line to intake

i know the pcv allows air to be sucked back into the combustion system from the heads....but where does it get sucked into? was wondering if the engine would run cleaner if the pcv hose from the head was re-routed just before the throttle body...call me stupid if you must

It already starts before the throttle body!?

I think I know what your saying, if you were to let it exhaust back into the intake stake then there would be no vacuum pulling air in the first place. The PCV allows cylinder blow-by gasses to get exhausted out of the crankcase, and prevent oil from breaking down prematurely.

Are you talking about the Exaust Gas Regulator? Its pretty obvious. My VG has it on the drivers side of the engine. And It has to dump into the intake before the TB so it can be regulated like the rest of the air. So it will get dirty no matter what. Im going to clean my Intake manifold some time this year.

standing infront of the car, it is in the back left right where the valve cover connects to the head...you should see a black hose connected at the corner and go under the intake....

plastic? should be be about an inch in length and about 1/2' diameter and metal....you should be able to blow in one side and hear the thing inside open up allowing air through.......basically by looking at the motor from if you were above the motor....it would have a big box as an outline...it is the top left corner....the back left of the motor...if you can't find it by looking around, you obviously shouldn't be working on your car. Just go take a look, and quit asking where it is....it will have an "L" shaped hose attached to it going under the manifold.
When I first found it, i wasn't sure if it was it or not because of the hose on it and where it went, but its it, trust me....and your gonna need a deep socket to bolt the pcv valve on, i forget what size.
