Look on the front{facing the front of the car} tranny, about in the middle of the casing of the trans. you will see a large plug with a 1/2 inch rachet fitting in the middle of it, thats it...........Hope that helps you.

NO thats the drain hole!!11 Atleast on autos it is.
Pull out the speed sensor and pour in there. Use the speed sensor as a dipstick, it should go halfway up the gear.

thanks man, started to drip out so my level's fine...shouldn't it be red though opposed to looking like brand new engine oil?

my '93 escort had auto tranny fluid in it then. i've never checked or changed fluid in any other manuals. thanks
