300zx Ecu

i have the opportuntiy to buy a 90's 300ZX for $1500, the only thing thats wrong with it is that it was driven through a deep puddle and it somehow destroyed the ECU. It is a Non-turbo engine (and its an automatic, unfortunately) with T-Tops and the entire car has been restored. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea how much a new ECU would be for this vehicle and if it is wise to install it myself?

plug in your local info and call your local wreckers/junk yards for prices.
