I can't imagine a better sounding exhaust on this car.

The sound is fantastic. Very deep and absolutely no vibration or rattles. At highway speeds, it is not noticeable and at WOT it has a great tone, with no raspiness at all. At idle it just has a nice deep purr.

I got the entire GReddy cat back used and it seems to be in very good condition, even though it came from the East Coast. I also paid a lot less than full retail, so I feel I definitely got my money's worth.

I do keep my car in a garage and don't drive it that much. I have put less than 4k miles in over two years of owning it. I expect the exhaust should last me quite a while, unless I scrape it on something. Like I said, my stock exhaust is 13 years old (150k miles) and it's still perfectly intact.

When I drove the car to where I put the exhaust on (about two miles away) it was the first time I had driven the Max in over a week.

Some people drive more, some people drive less. I work about two miles west of my house. My wife works about two miles east of our house. Our combined daily commute is less than 10 miles. It's probably less than 8 miles.

Before getting transferred, I worked 90 miles away (one way) and I drove my Celica until it threw a rod at 260k miles.

Moral of the story = try to find a place close to work. It saves time, gas and money.

I feel offended... MY RAVIN IS NOT A RICER MUFFLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Forget the WSP b pipe... all I need now is their Y-pipe and high flow cat and my exhaust is finished.

Hey Mr. Gone

If you're going to just keep those Maximas lying around... pass a Black 5 speed this way so I can get my wife to quit bugging me about mine.

$500 and I'd pick it up, and drag it back to SD $1200 if it actually could drive back to SD

Price depends upon options... Looking for a stock one.

I think Keelan better put up some money or it is going to be sold to kcidmil.

If you paid to ship it (I don't think it's really driveable), Shawn would probably go lower on the price than $6999, trust me. Shawn's is basically stock except for the rims and for the right price, he might even install the poofy leather, giving it all the options.

You need to get that thing out of your garage, Shawn.

Oh, and Shock, your exhaust doesn't look ricey. I actually like the dual tip look better than GReddy. However, the GReddy is made specifically for this car and it bolts right up with no custom piping or modifications.

New GReddy vs. yours, I would probably do something similar to what you have, because it would be cheaper, look better with the dual tip and still sound good. But, I got it used at a very good price and it really does sound great.

within 3 months Chris won't be able to get enough of the GReddy's looks.

There is a small adjustment period.

You have the real/full Brullen cat-back?

I've never seen/heard of anybody actually having one. Got any pics of it?

oops, I got your car confused with kcidmil's max.

Either way, I probably paid less for my entire exhaust from the exhaust manifold on, than most people pay for their cat-back, so I can't complain. If you paid full retail for a full cat-back Brullen exhaust, then I could have paid for my entire set up twice (with shipping) and had $50 left over.

You should post some pics of your exhaust so we can see what you are talking about.

yeah. there shop is two minutes from my house.
i was wondering if someone would ever chime into the brullen name
high flow cat

y-pipe

b-pipe

these were taken inside the brullen shop while they were test fitting the exhaust. definately not the best pics. i don't have any pics of the muffler that i can find but i'll get some.

didn't know this would stir up any interest so,
i'll try and get a sound clip of it on my vg for now.
i'll get better pics of it off car once i swap it onto my ve.

I shall answer all this with math... cause your's is a little off.

1 for (1+1)= 1 for 1

The (1+1) ends up being one item

Ahh.. 2 resonators... interesting

Definitely get some muffler/car shots. I've heard about a supposed Brullen cat-back for our cars for years yet never heard of/saw a real case until now. You know, kinda like the whole non-LSD VE 5spd scenerio
