I have a similar problem with my 93 (RHD) model. When I switch on the master switch the front passenger and rear drivers side go down. Put the rear one up and it stays there until I put the front up then the back goes down!
The drivers and rear passenger ones are fine.
Help!!!!

The doors are logic controlled, NOT hard wired T-Ford -type. Each door has its own logic printed circuit board (PCB).

Push a button: Driver door sends now logic signal and simultaneously delivers +12V to the designated door. Logic signal defines [in the door PCB] which way the win reg moves...

The logic signals are really weak, and operate at 0-5V levels. (STUPID! arrangement...) Thereby moisture and/or bad connections can easily make whatever...

I suggest u look for moisture, then spray cleaner on contacts, add contact grease on EVERY pin, every door...

Seek for schemas (if available) at bottom of page http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748507/1

Smtg bits on the door electronics is at: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748507/13

Edit:
Note the transmitter (drivers door) data line to receivers... Look also for healthy +12V and grounding connection.

can a bad master switch usually be fixed by cleaning the contacts and adding contact grease?

Mine either works fine.. or doesnt work at all for about 5 minutes of pressing the up button. This would be for the 1 window out of 4 that I have that doesnt have a broken window regulator...

Can the regulator be removed and rebuilt in any way?

Wilking.. your site is awesome and I am planning on using it for quite a few repairs I need to do..

- intermittent bad contact problems in any electronics pins may be corrected with contact grease. The problem is, that too much of it will cause a undesired short... So apply it with a toothpick. Generally I dont suggest u use on computers with tightly packed pins, but in cars the corrosive environment is another issue: My ABS started to work like dream after adding CG on each connector pin in the trunk ABS box.
- Maybe its time for 'new' master switch box from junkyard? The problem is, probably theyre already going bad... ask internetautomator ?

- theyre quite cheap there, better ask internetautomator for a new one... I have rebuilt RH regulator to LH door on my former nissan, but thats because the reg costs here some 400$! Just dont do it, rather go surfing...
