skyline motor = VE?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...546245357&rd=1

this guy is saying that the VE engine is the same engine thats in the skyline? I dont beleve this but just to make sure this is incorrect, right. and is it true that the 5speed VE only made up 4% of the maximas sold? how rare are the VE 5speeds really? I know that you dont see them every day but would you honestly say that they are rare? does anyone know how many VE 5speeds were made?

Do you have pics? Will you take 40mil??? You should post it in the for sale section, I'm sure you'll get some good offers

That guy is an idiot, he sounds like someone from the .org "Legedary" "Skyline" "Rare" "Pocketrocket" what a load of crap, it might be a little rare but nothing to gloat about

Didn't you notice the twin turbos in your engine bay?

The guy is an idiot, R 32,33,34 Skyline's came with an I6 TT (RB26DETT). Their internals can withstand up to 600hp without internal modifications. I doubt our VE's can withstand even half of that.

He's selling it pretty cheap for having a "skyline motor"... If I didn't have the P5, I'd buy the thing... and when I pick it up call the idiot a facking moron to his face.

:edit: Then rip that ugly Tan interior out of it....

I think I know how this guy could have gotten confused... the new Skyline has the new 3.5L. So he put 2 and 2 together and thought the old Maximas had the same motors of the skylines at the same years.
