Spring Differences
#1
I am looking at replacing basically everything, I've started looking up prices for different stuff lately and I got a couple questions.
Whats the difference between the eibach prokit springs and the ST springs (besides the amount of drop).
ST sway bars front and back for $230...can I install these myself? I Picture it just being two bolts I undo then put the new ones on. Do the urethane bushings that come with it go on easily also?
Looking at KYB for struts-the cheapest at $230. Will these hold up with lowering springs?
How much would install for springs/struts run (estimate)? I have access to the school car garage afterschool one day a week and they ahve allthe tools I need and everything, but I don't know what the install entails exactly and I ahve no experience with this.
After this will body roll/bouncy(scary) suspension be basically non existent?
Thanks a lot,
PJ

Hehe Skymax, ST sway bars cost $230, ST springs cost around $150-180.
PJ, I'm thinking about the same thing for this summer. I would probably opt to get the ST sway bars first since spring/struts are an expensive combo. Installation should run aroung $200 for spring/struts. Sway bars are possible to do yourself as long as you have a lift or jacks and some basic handtools, I imagine. Doesn't really sound too bad.
