ECU Toaster Shield

ECU Toaster Shield
As the cabin heater core starts to leak, ECU/TCU will be toasTed; Maxima problem, just question of timing. I love barBeCues, but generally as smoke escapes from any IC, the electronics control starts to be unpredictable... and getting the smoke back into the IC is PITA without proper tools.
For this reason I've been planning some kinda shield to route tha possible liquids on my toes, instead of the ECU (= no barbeCue).
---------->Has anybody done that yet, if so, how?

1. dunno where the wasser will flow out
2. yes, downwards. at leas mostly. via harness to connectors?
3. pretty tight area
4. air circulation (=cooling) should not be badly blocked.
5. I am pretty sure stretching just 'plastic bag' over will not really solve this...
6. dont wanna rip my dash for this
btw. my CO friends pathfinder has these boxes under the drivers seat. Lots better place - as long as driver's seals will not leak... actually u could move the boxes somewhere. lets see...
My post count will freeze if I ever get on the run... And I'll surely show u my rearlights as u get bck home! Then mama will drop coffee on u keyboard if u will not give up u net addiction... start figurin how to shield that.
