I read all the stickies but the pictures shown are not the stock 3rd generation Bose CD FM Cassette radio. I got mine apart and found a similar board with two black resistors stamped 470 on top. Will soldering these fix the CD error message? Has anyone done this to our 3rd generation with any success? Thanks again for the help.

 

I was never aware that BOSE made a cd player for the 3rd gen. Can i see some pics? I really want to see what it looks like.

 

Yeah they are around. I would load a pic but Im not sure how and I dont have a chance to look up how to right now. I have one in my other Max. Im not sure yet if its gonna stay in or not. Might want to replace it.
