You should be ashamed. You've been here long enough to spot those yourself.

damn, they're charging 25 bucks for a plastic box and a resistor? Man, I'll throw in a blinking LED and sell it for 10 bucks, maybe I can make a fortune doing that.

Woops, forgot the shipping too.

Since it fits the topic, can someone please tell me if the strut brace for a 90 se I keep seeing on e-bay is trash? I know it's not pretty, but would it function? If it's likely trash does anyone make a less costly brace? All my money is going to CVshaft/joints and new Tocikos so money is tight. Thanks much

Alot of people have those strut bars and are happy with them. I would say its not a bad risk.

if that peice of junk module doesnt steer you away then that fact of those scotch locks should lol. i know alot of people swear by those t-taps but it is one of the main reasons that i remove many eletronics (alarms, remote starts, etc) and install new ones at work. if im going to alter any signal going to the computer i dont want my connections failing. besides if you want one of that type of module, i have the jet module i'll sell of for a resonable price( i dont need it i already have aftermarket ecu). besides at least you know that it wont blow up your car since it was in my car. my only use for it now is to see how much throttle im using at any given time, not that it matters. but my knucklehead friends are ammused by anything blinky or shiny lol.

...will send u max on a cold engine trip [more injction compared to warm engine].

Text from e-bay: "Why so cheap ? Our manufacturer is able to produce large quantities. They use the latest technology, state of the art equipment and high quality materials. The molded ABS and Polycarbonate cases are heat and water resistant. All this simply puts our product on top of our competitors at a fraction of the cost."

--->Why so cheap ? The switch is missing; competing proDucts have a 10 cent switch adding to costs.

--->Their emphasis is on the boxes, most expensive parts in their proDuct.

--->--->Why not make it still cheaper DIY, and working only on demand?

NO sir. Pwr is result of burning gas - ALL pwr in a max. Adding some drops more to a lean mixture, burns some more gas = potential for pwr increase exists. One way is to bypass temp sensor resistor with a 2k resistor (5cents?), a box with 50cents is a plus. Selling it on e-bay with 25$ is good business to some, I would not even call it a hoax: u get what is promised, a water resistant box [high quality:] and possibly few more happy horses. lol. Tupperware Turbo?

Why NIssan did not increase injection to harness those lean horses: Enviro reg plus user mpg -demands...

I added such bypass 2R2; used now as kickdown. Faster VGE? dunno...

Dunno Wiking, shouldn't tricking your computer into thinking that the engine is cold will send more gas into the combustion chamber = rich mixture? If that's the case, then the rich mixture will destroy your cat converter sooner or later.

I'm confused. Are you stating that Nissan tuned our cars to a ratio other than 14:1? That's what it sounds like.

no, manufactures tend to tune rich, it is safer than running lean. Our cars run rich.

Good to know. Clarify something for me if you can. What ratio is our ECU programmed to? In other words, how rich?

Some more than others... I'm surprised I don't have a gas pouring out of my muffler.

They dont yet sell muffler overflow collectors on ebay? I thought I'll start selling semiautomatic garage door 'openers': twelve feet nylon rope attached to door. Just pull it while reversing out. 25$. Who takes? ...eh shipping 6$.

Still cold engine is given more gas than warm; most likely cannot use all that gas now, but now most oxygen will surely be depleted and hopefully rubbervaporized...
